President Barack Obama celebrated his 55th birthday with a star-studded bash at the White House on Friday night. According to People, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Beyoncé, and John Legend were all in attendance. What’s more, both Usher and Stevie Wonder performed at the party.

Friday marked Kendrick’s third trip to the White House this year. In January, he met with President Obama to discuss topics concerning inner cities and Kendrick’s “Pay it Forward” campaign. Last month, he performed at the White House’s annual Fourth of July cookout. President Obama has also called Kendrick his favorite rapper.

The Obamas’ relationship with Jay Z and Beyoncé dates back nearly a decade, as the two were vocal supporters during his initial run for president in 2008. Beyoncé serenaded the Obamas with Etta James’ “At Last” at the Neighborhood Ball following his first inauguration. Four years later, she sang the Star-Spangled Banner at the end of his second inauguration.

While there was a social media blackout during the event, Magic Johnson’s wife Cookie summed up the event on Instagram, writing, “Our President knows how to throw a great party, we had so much fun, I can barely walk today, LOL!”
