This afternoon President Barack Obama participated in a live Q&A on YouTube. Many of the questions asked were decided by YouTube viewers. Naturally, one question involved Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
YouTube vlogger Adande Thorne, aka sWooZie, asked President Obama who would win in a rap battle between Kendrick and Drake. “Got to go with Kendrick,” the President responded. “I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick — his lyrics, his last album was outstanding. Best album of last year.”
President Obama’s answers shouldn’t be too shocking as he already named “How Much a Dollar Cost” his favorite song of 2015, and met with the Compton rapper in the Oval Office earlier this week.
